This segment meets the demands of domestic and international maritime/waterway transportation, and requires high performance products which offer a short setup in the painting process, as well as latest generation technology. The painting systems for this segment must show high resistance to UV rays to protect superstructures; they must have a high performance for live works, and a long durability for cargo holds and ballasts, which are constantly exposed to aggressive corrosion agents.

These coatings must be approved by international agencies and organizations, and Renner Protective Coatings has earned such certifications from DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and ABS (Brazilian Safety Agency) in order to meet the strict demands of the IMO/PSPC (Performance Standard for Protective Coatings of the International Maritime Organization).
