The Base Protection System
Our industrial tank base painting system consists of three main stages, each designed to meet the specific demands of the operating environment:
1. Primer: Oxibar PFC 533
Oxibar PFC 533 is the first layer of the system, playing a crucial role in the initial protection of the metal surface. Its high-performance formulation includes polyamidoamine, which ensures excellent adhesion to the substrate and fast drying, even in low temperature conditions (down to 0°C). The zinc phosphate-based anti-corrosive pigment reinforces corrosion resistance, while its high solids and low VOC formulation makes the product environmentally responsible and in line with the most stringent environmental standards.
2. Intermediate: EPH 920 Mass
As an intermediate layer, EPH 920 Mass offers additional protection, forming a robust barrier against corrosive agents. This coating has a high thickness, with application of up to 2 mm, ensuring mechanical and chemical resistance in high-performance systems. The ecological formulation, with high solids and low VOC, reflects Renner Coatings' commitment to sustainability and industrial efficiency.
3. Finish: Rethane FLV 653
The finish is responsible for providing weather resistance, color and gloss retention, and long-term chemical protection. Rethane FLV 653 is a two-component paint based on aliphatic acrylic polyurethane, formulated with organic pigmentation free of heavy metals. This coating is ideal for external applications, such as tank sides, pipelines, and superstructures, combining aesthetics and functionality in a single product.
4. Concrete Sealant and Additional Protection
For concrete-structured bases, we apply a specialized sealant that prevents infiltration and protects the base against chemical attacks. This process includes hydrowashing, application of epoxy glue and protective coating, creating a waterproof barrier and significantly increasing the durability of the structure.
