C-THERM S990 HB is a solvent-based intumescent paint. This product uses specially selected raw materials in its composition, which provide fire resistance to metallic materials. The film significantly increases its volume when exposed to high temperatures in a fire, a process called intumescence, creating a carbon foam with great thermal insulation capacity, protecting the structure from the effects of fire. C-THERM S990 HB is easy to apply and requires little repainting time. Recommended for both indoor and outdoor applications (with finishing). Certified by ASTM E119, UL 263, UBC 7-1, NFPA 251, ANSI A2.1 for up to 180 minutes.
